I used the the hydraulic technique to get the old spigot bushing out, but i did clean it off .. maybe I didn't do a very good job.

I'll add a little more, when I first got the judder it would happen a day or two after spraying the brake cleaner in but ever since I changed the slave cylinder about 4 weeks or so ago I've not had to spray anything in so it's not immediately comming back, and only doing it some days.

I'll have to live with it for a while if the engines gotta come out again, working 7 days a week doesn't help lol.

A bit hard to track the problem from what you are experiencing, but I have seen diaphragm type springs in clutches do some strange things when they are on the way out, but usually giving a funny feel to the pedal and feeling "mushy" on take-up, sometimes juddery this is sometimes a pretty rapid process, you would think it takes time and is a gradual process. If you can't live with it I think the problems will only be revealed when you pull the clutch out again.

No issues with the pedal etc
The clutch is really smooth when the brake cleaners been sprayed (just did it again earlier) and it'll most likely stay like this for a while as it did after changing the slave cylinder.

I'll see how it goes, won't be able to pull the engine back out again for a couple months now but if it only takes a little bit of brake cleaner every month to stay smooth I'm OK with that lol.

"Smooth" in a can!....................... Might spray some on the suspension of my old Disco.
