anyone know how much a 1996 4.6 hse was new,a few people have asked and i dont have a clue.

depends on the spec, you can plug the info into parkers website and it will tell you! cost you 3.49 tho!

I know my 98 DSE was £44,000 when new. I'd be lucky if it is worth half that now...

I have 1998 DSE with 120000 miles on the clock and a dealer offerd me
£3800 on a trade in for a 2007 HSE V8 diesel

My mate brought a Range Rover supercharged v8 for £68000 2 years ago, looked at one on a dealers forcourt same as his 2 years old and done some homework and his vehicle is loseing £38 a day, i think its cheaper to lease one than buy one
