hi guys,i take it nobody has a clue about gettin rear door to open,when not opening through central locking,or manually fom inside,cheers pat
 
Hi mate, I had this problem except mine wouldnt open from inside or outside. I had to remove the rear seat, then take off the door card which gave access to the locking mechanism.
I unclipped the central locking connector bar and immedialy the door lock worked.
the problem was the lock had stuck when the door had been opened so all it needed now was to oil everything up again.

as RangieLSE said, this is or was a common problem, but I never had to remove the seat, just pull door card carefully once the screws have been removed and lift upwards
 
hi guys, took door card off,fiddled about abit,cleaned lots off grease off,went to scrappies about to buy rear door lock mechanism,to much hassle to take off,so i left it,few days later just trying door and it opened,dont have a clue what the matter was but its ok now,cheers pat
 
my rear passenger side door lockis locked ,door card is off , will not open from inside or outside , any theories on getting door open even if to fit new lock ?
 
hi moneypit,with the door card off is the lock mechanism full of grease,mine was i cleaned as much as i could,disconnected mutiplug cleaned that,couple days later door worked,dont know how,dont know why,but it works now,also once door opened had to put childlock off,dont know if that had anything to do with door not opening from inside pat
