Morning All,

I've had an ongoing slight coolant leak for some time now.
Earlier this year I put a new water pump and replaced the valley gasket. I hoped this would be it, but no.
I don't mind topping it up every now and then, but I'd prefer to get to the bottom of it.

I can't see any obvious leak, so I'm going to have to look a bit harder.
Is there a dye ro something I can add to make the leak show up? Or would there be a loads of chalky depositis or something I can look for around the engine. It's not fast enough to show up as drops of coolant on the floor, so I suspect it's evaporating off the engine or something.

Coolant already has a dye that shows up with a black light/UV. Shine it around the engine bay in low light and you'll soon spot it!

Could be a pinhole in the rad that only opens enough when hot. Or could just be a joint that isn't quite tightened all the way. May just have to wait for it to get worse enough to see.

i added fluro dye to my coolant to track down my leaks did an engine oil change and the old oil fluressed under the uv light.
hg failure sniff test didnt show it
