Got the torque setting idea.

I take it that the locking bar just bolts on to the pulley with the 4 bolts??
 
Check out the Difflock guide. The pictures are very helpful. They also sell the cheapest crank pulley holding tool.
 
Seen it but with a garage full of milling machines, lathes and drills, aint no way i'm buying the tool;)
 
Yep I just used the 4 bolts from the puller set to go into the threaded holes and used the puller for the template, with a big hole 40 odd mm to get a 27mm socket throught the middle.
 
Started collecting bits, got the viscuous fan spanner and a couple of wading plugs to make the flywheel lock pin, both on the fleabay £11 the lot
