yer never said that was gross or net, i have alot of savings in various account and that sounds like a **** net figure to me that!

as fer shares there all a gamble, (yer i lost a few k when i worked for marconi and they went tits up an they were the 2nd largest telecomms company at the time aswell :eek: )
 
depends on how much ye got, but if you want good return on investment (33% plus) only way to go is hedge fund. i put quite a large amount into the hands o me broker for a year, and i made 38% after his comm. but u gotta have big bucks to do hedge fund investment. otherwise, get hold of yer broker and tell him u wanna invest in mutual funds...good time now coz they are down coz of the merkin $ takin a bit of a pounding.
