Having spent some time looking at prices etc, I am amazed how narrow the spread in values are between 10 year old 100k vehicles and 4 year old 20k vehicles.
From what I have seen, £10 to £12k for a Td5 2002/3 plate with 60 to 90k and £15 to 16k for a Tdci 2007 with 20 to 40k.
So for the extra £5k, what am I buying?
A better engine, better interior, better dash, better heaters, 6 speed box, etc etc
or
Anunproven, delicate, complex bag of problems with little trouble shooting expertese out here on the net?
The car buyer in me says newer, lower miles is best, but this is Landy Zone and less is more! Simple, proven, agricultural technology carries more kudos than state of the art....
Any thoughts...
Don't get me started on trying to decide if a 90 is better than a 110...
I convinced myself a 110 was a bit of a barge, until I looked at a hardtop van body in Belize Green and it didn't seem much longer than a saloon car and the 90 has a tiny amount of load space in comparison.
I'm not specifically looking for a load carrier but I know that once I get a 90, everything I want to transport will be too big...
