Morning all,

Been doing the brakes again on the series 3. First time i did them a few months back they were fine but it pulled to one side really bad. Had to sort that for the MOT and then it pulled the other way and even after bleeding twice the brakes still needed pumping.

Sorted the pulling to one side out this morning and then bled them again, all looked good with no more air coming out of any. Then i go to test them in the field, nothing when i press the peddle, they needed to be pumped

I guess its going to be an afternoon of bleeding brakes for me

Try the wait and see method, have found it works well on most land rovers.Just attach clear pipe to brake bleed screw, open and wait until fluid runs free of air keeping resevore topped up,repeat for the other three.About five mins per corner.

You say you've bled them but have you adjusted them? Have you made sure the springs are on right and that the shoes haven't got swapped over?

If you don't know how to do them let us know, also might need to know what model as there are different arrangements on LWB

Had a lot of trouble with my brakes and just sorted it. What was wrong was the rubber hose was old and it had internaly swollen so no fluid flowed properly, new hose and perfect. if your hoses have swollen inside then it would give the same effect, fluid finding the easy way which would make it pull one side. Take off one and try to blow through it, if ok should be easy, if you can't throw it away new ones £3 on e-bay with postage.
