AAAAAnyway,back to your battery.
out of curiosity do any of u charge a new battery before installing it in the landy plse
I have never needed to charge any new battery, and i have bought a few for the cars i have owned, the Tayna batteries are ready to go.out of curiosity do any of u charge a new battery before installing it in the landy plse
Why Gary?.new battery turned up
tested it at 13 volts 15 volts running
surprising the difference in how quickly the engine turned over and started with the new battery
will get another smaller battery to set up on the other side of the engine via a split charge system

Why Gary?.
how often will u use this cooler?.plus the battery you now have, will turn your rngine over in any weather now.because i want a back up , so when i put the cooler fridge in the boot it won't drain the main battery
also will be good for the winter

ok.got the waaco cooler , which is a heater and fridge , mainly to keep the water nice and cool for the dogs
will be plugged in the boot permantely as required according to the weather
there not spoilt , lol
these d3 are also power hungry with battery drain ,
has the aux battery tray on the other side of the engine, so can put a smaller battery in there , that will then take care of any residual drain and assure the main battery remains fully charged
therefore preventing where i leave the car for a week or so in the winter not starting a thing of the past
don't want the hassle

No it won't.
There will still be a parasitic battery drain from the main starting battery, not a lot according to you post #9 when less than 25mA is stated so not "power hungry with battery drain" as you state, if there is you have a problem which is why, "where i leave the car for a week or so in the winter not starting a thing of the past" possibly happens
Also if fitting an aux battery you will have to install replacement wiring to any aux socket/s fitted in the vehicle you wish to use or install additional ones from the the extra battery, maybe your not aware of that.![]()
