All my answers were about the problem you described that the light stays on so i dont understand what are you doing now

I said before it goes off after a few miles and then once the vehicle has been left a while it starts playing up again.

And i said not once that if the light is on while you have good voltage from the alternator the problem is not the alternator so you have to watch the voltage while the lamp is on... eventually read again the whole thread
