Cracks like those are not consistant with a tyre less than 24 months old with as little wear as that. I'd be straight onto Grizzly and seek their advice. What are the others like? Can you be sure that the receipt you have is for the tyres fitted? Just because the receipt is 2005 it doesn't mean the tyres are - they may well have been sitting in the sun for years.

Nah, part of my existing local 'franchise' already involves leaning on people. I could flog 'em a new diff whilst I'm at it I guess, even if they dunt need it. :D
 
them aint cracks in the tyre its where the retread is seperating from the casing.

oi oss chops, where are ya based, ive got a crackin set of goodyear wrangler at's that will do you a treat ;)
 
well the reciept is for the 1 tyre. and its only that one which is bad. the other 4 are ok now. well 3 and the spare i just put on. yella is right, its where the retread is lifting off the carcuss. still havent emailed them yet, been tre busy.

will try to get onto them today.

Is the receipt for that make of tyre? Just thinking that mebbe at some point way back two were replaced, one wuz then looking fooked so was changed, but it weren't the one we're looking at now, it wuz the other of a pair of them Broncos...........just a thought...........er, if it makes any sense?
 
er...

well i have a reciept for 4 avon rangers. then another for 1 of the grizzly's. i will look for the reciept for the 4 when i get home. i may even ring steve the prev owner and ask him.

im emailing them now... keeping it nice :) dont worry.

ps. all have around 9-10mm tread left so are wearing evenly. id like to think 4 were perch-ased together, then 1 more at a later date to carry as a spare... i hope :S

maybe accy could do a sticky, 'dint buy remoulds cos thur crap but they are ok to keep using even after one has fell to bits while driving'
