i looked at this, can anyone tell us the difference between standard and wolf engines? i thought they were all standard 300tdi.
btw its expensive in my opinion.

I haven't been able to find anything definitive regarding differences between the standard and WOLF 300tdi engines. I believe the gearbox has a dedicated oil cooler and the transfer box is 'different', but that's about it.

That is unless anyone knows differently??

All reconditioned it does look pretty good, especially if caught at the bottom end of the range of prices!

Not too bad if it has been done properly.
10-years ago I bought a brand-new LR gen-parts re-power-kit inc fully-dressed 300TDi, R380, Disco transfer-box plus all parts needed for a factiory-fit installation (cross-member, exhaust, props, rad/intercooler, wiring harness, tunnel & floor etc etc) and that came in at £6K inc fitting.
Allow for inflation and that re-manufactured engine / gearbox / transfer-box looks reasonable value.

Anyone who buys that and puts it in a daily driver wants there head reading!

Only way that would be value is to go in a museum car that somehow dosent have an engine!
