hi just bought a disco its been lying offroad for about a year the engine is fine the auto box is fine but the brakes r hittin the floor when driving the fluid levels r ok the servo is fine its a 98 r reg can any 1 give me any tips disc brakes all round help me plz

what do you mean hitting the floor are you talking about the pedal? is the low fluid warning light on?
 
try bleeding em first, obviously you will need to check the seals for damage/wear/leakage!

a thorough brake check is one of the first things i do to a car, usually replace the brake lines as a matter of course aswell!

pads are also a deffo replace as they could be worn or brittle with age! for the sake of a few quid its a worthwhile task!!
 
What Gav says is right, but a small helper might be to press the brake pedal all the way down, and use a nylon tiewrap or spmething to keep it down overnight, the day before they're being bled. This should allow air to percolate back up the lines.

It's not a huge job to overhaul the whole thing! Seals, pistons, pads, pipes.... do a search if you don't know what you're doing, and FFS don't drive it til your stoppability is as good as it can get!!!
