hi just bought a disco its been lying offroad for about a year the engine is fine the auto box is fine but the brakes r hittin the floor when driving the fluid levels r ok the servo is fine its a 98 r reg can any 1 give me any tips disc brakes all round help me plz
What Gav says is right, but a small helper might be to press the brake pedal all the way down, and use a nylon tiewrap or spmething to keep it down overnight, the day before they're being bled. This should allow air to percolate back up the lines.
It's not a huge job to overhaul the whole thing! Seals, pistons, pads, pipes.... do a search if you don't know what you're doing, and FFS don't drive it til your stoppability is as good as it can get!!!
