so when i press the aircon button so the light is off means on its quite loud like a motor running is this right? just seems really loud!!

Yes. Light off = on, light on = off. Stupid. (that system, not you)

if you switch the cables on back of the switch it will read right.

cannot understand l/rover setting the switches like this as it can be very confusing.good idea though b o b.

Got it BOB...light on =off, light off=on, switch in=off, switch out=on.
