No! That's my point!

I think it's 55w legal or is it 75! can't remember! but I once but some 100w bulbs in a 1.1 pop escort and the bloody thing set on fire!!
Burnt all the wiring loom out and that!!

That means 55w on dip 60 full beam!

Maybe sombody put larger w bulbs in before you,melted,blue a fuse,and they put original bulbs back in.

If they are not melting any more,smoking,blowing fuses I would'nt worry too much about it.

Check the body earth point as I have seen it happen on a mates disco, that was the cause.
