is it ? certainley the easiest to rebuild but baulk rings dont last as long a lt77

depends on your criteria ,it does have compound baulk rings ,but rings are poor you rarely find any youd refit whilst that is common in a lt77,lt77 main issue was mainshaft spline wear later cured by cross drilled input gear

£75 with transfer box but no gear levers (swap yours across).
I bought it but didn't need it in the end, so can only tell you what I was told about it (which as we all know may or may not be true).
came from a D1 300 tdi and done 140k. looks to be in good nick but I've never used it or dismantled it or anything so cant tell you any more than I already have.
