In 1980 I was working at an Auto Electrical centre in Colchester mostly on ICE and accessories. One day the local BL dealer delivered us a brand new Range Rover for some upgrades. We fitted new audio equipment and started fitting electric windows as this was not a factory option at that time. Part way through the work it went to Janspeed for the fitting of twin turbos, porting and retuning. Eventually it came back for completion including auxilliary lights and VHF radio (no sat navs or mobile phones then). It looked absolutely stunning.
I often wonder what happened to it.

i remember having a car 28 yrs ago
cant remember the make or color but i fitted some different bits to it
anyone know what happended to it or where it is now?

if you know the original reg plate you could find out if it is still used on the road!

The question wasn't entirely serious so not to worry. Bearing in mind this is Essex we are talking about some yuppie (it was that era) who had the money to buy a brand new car and do all that to it I would take a punt on it being wrapped around a tree before its 1st service!!

Used to have a log book of all work done (ex aircraft engineer) but too many moves since then!
