i did mention to him about a bit of carpet and some bungee cords to help prevent problem in future , come to think of it rehand had some slightly soiled carpet he was trying to get rid of:doh:I bought one last year after my rad blocked.![]()
pm red he has some slightly soiled stuffI think a muff or a bit of carpet is a great souding investment.. quick search only reveals them for sale for series and deependers so guess the bit of carpet is the solution..

I always give my rad a quick blow over with a hosepipe when I get the opportunity (unfortunately not that often) but as long as you close the muff before wading in MUDDY water you should be fine. When there has been a dry spell on the plain the water holes are more mud than water. Cos I spend most of my time as tail end that means everyone else has churned the silt up too. I know it's a pain openeing and closing it but in your case it should help your electrics when wading too.
