Yip, they look pretty bad. I had to patch up a hole in my wheel arch behind the arch liner. Mud and dirt gather then stay wet and salty from road salt causing rust.Those inner wings look pretty rusty. I'm guessing it's spent time on salt laden roads.
You might want to remove the arch liners to check the sills, as those are known rust traps, even on cars without any rust on the inner wings.

Did alternator 1 month ago it's a pain in the ass to do as space is restrictedToday I am putting the new drivebelts on as had to change the alternator last week. And it was a bit of a pain tbh which I will go into later depending on how this goes…..
