Fitted all new ABS sensors. Warning light has been off for 20 miles, but just come back on. What else would cause this?

Wheel bearing with a bit of play will knock a sensors out.
i believe the wiring also runs through the connector block in the a posts which corrode
and brake peddle switch not set right can throw an abs fault up

Thanks. Any way to diagnose some of these? Wheel bearings I can check. Otherwise it’s a bit of a shot in the dark.
My case was a failed pressure switch in ABS pump
Is the alternator charging with good health?

Brake switch, hold peddle down pull out plunger on switch then let peddle up
connectors in a post cut then out and solder each wire back together

I wish I knew the answer to this, lol!!
If I select the Webco option on the Nanocom and look for fault codes, I only get this. Have tried engine running/off, ignition on 1/2 etc. Same result.
On the Motronic screen on the Faults menu I am seeing this, not sure if it could be related?
It also won't clear and is there all the time.

I also get an intermittent error on the front right abs sensor, but it tests just fine. I can't feel any play in the wheel bearing, so i don't know what the issue is.
I do have modulator problems, ordered a second hand replacement

It says "Rough Road signal" only applies to the V8, so like some other things you can get a permanent "Invalid fault"
On a diesel, ignore it.

Yours has 4W TC? So WABCO D.
Push all sensors in all the way. They should sit in a springy bush with correct type of grease.

Thanks. But it is a 4.6. The Abs light is the concern as it’ll fail it’s MoT in 2 weeks if I can’t fathom it out.

Thanks. Assume you mean the copper/stainless cage thing the sensor slides into? New sensors came with these and grease. Follow instructions I found on a YouTube vid and tapped both in with a rubber hammer until they stop.

That's it. On the WABCO D you can take a trace with the Nanocom as long as you keep the speed below where the light goes out on the dash. So it should work with enfine running as long as it is still in diagnostic mode. I think the Nanocom mixes up which sensor is which unless they fixed it on an upgrade.

Not good if they were so tight that you needed a rubber mallet to seat them, should go in with finger pressure.
