Installed a Gwyn Lewis suspension kit about 2 years ago.
When installed she was sitting a bit high in the front.
I figured the weight of the engine, the winch and the ARB winch bumper would bring it down.
Does not seem to be happening.

What's the best and safest way to get the rear up an inch or two?

Thanks.

If I remember right Gwyn Lewis actually sells spacers that go under the spring seats so that you can get it level with a little trial and error.
Although an inch or two seems a lot to me.

Fill the engine so it's brimming with oil, fill all fluid reservoirs ( coolant, power steering, clutch, brake etc. ) the same. If that doesn't work, fit +1 or +2 lift kit depending on if you want +1 or +2 lift. Quite impressed you waited 2 years to see if it would right itself!

Im suprised you didnt tell him to get the grinder out;)

Don't be so silly, I'd never do anything like that :behindsofa:
I was under strict instruction that day, I was only 'assisting' with the job as they didn't know what they where doing and didn't have the tools.

Told him to cut them himself, he started and just touched the metal when a spark flew off and burnt his hand
No really, that was what he said
So I had to do it instead :boink:
