I have a P38 as my daily driver now she has the L322....not a bad daily car, comfortable enough for the jaunt to and from work and as a lugger for stuff I didn't want to put in the L322....

As for long drives, the L322 wins hands down! (well, my 7'er E38 is a sublimely comfortable motorway eater...but we are talking Range Rovers - and the 7'er is probably gonna go )

Not keen on Disco's, we have a D4 at work, and I always opt for the Deffie 90 even though it doesn't have A/C, a radio, sound proofing, or Bluetooth!!

I suspect I'm not the only one. The P38 is the last British (truly Land Rover) Range Rover - and that means a lot to me, bling bling wheels and trying to impress the neighbours does not.

+1. I have a P38 because thats the RR I want. So far it's getting on to be the most reliable motor i've had too- never let me down. Had an L322 HSE as a company car some time ago, & for me it's no 'upgrade' from an '02 Vogue SE P38.
I'm not out to impress anyone so the P38 suits me. However, always nice to get comments on it from folks who have a real appreciation for RR's. Cant ever imagine that happening in a L322.

Disagree, a well kept P38 or Classic is something to admire. L322's just too commonplace - not knocking them for that, just an observation.
