I've just collected my first Landy which is a 1994 300TDI 90 hardtop. (corrected my earlier type from 1984!)
Everything seems ok except:
The garage said that there is a kit costing under a tenner which sorts the advisories as it is a common issue.
The gear change issue is most worrying but I couldn't check it before driving away! I have been told that this is also a common issue and likely fixed by a gearbox oil change.
Any ideas??
Everything seems ok except:
- The gearbox clunks between 1st and 2nd but no others (unless you select neutral in-between the gears)
- The steering wheel itself squeeks against its cowell
- There is an advisory on the MOT which was done today saying: 001 Steering box has a slight oil leak [2.2.D.2e] & 002 Slight play in steering drop arm.
