just check before you turn up, some outlets listed on there only sell "heating oil" so you cant just turn up and fill up

It can be hard to get hold of wvo now, but its still possible to buy it and make your own using that. I am buying mine.
Makes your fuel cost half what it does at the pumps, and you get all the joys of giving yourself methanol poisoning, caustic burns, explosions, fires... making **** fuel...
its fun though!
And once you are set up you can save yourself a packet.

one side issue with the big drums now though, any sale over 100L they take your name, address & reg number (or are supposed to)
That's not a problem for me as the oil is for heating but I suppose you could give them someone elses name and address and say you were just collecting it for them.
If you buy it for road use then its more expensive as you pay more VAT etc so its not illegal to use it, just label the drums so as you know which is which as it's all the same stuff really.
And......arn't you allowed to use a certain amount of used veg oil any way cause that's what it is basicly?

SVO, there is a limit, there is no limit AFAIK on bio you MAKE yourself, its the buying bit that is the problem,
If its sold as a road fuel, you have to pay more VAT & road duty just short of 58ppl) on it (20% vat as apposed to 5% for heating)

Arrr I see, I'll just use this stuff for heating and running the tractors then, I'll make my own bio for the Landy
You can make up to 2500 litres for personal road use before you pay any duty. But you can make as much as you like for heating without paying any duty. 😉
