Mines started, I decided on on Nato green. Did the wings today, going to do the bonnet and roof tomorrow.

Brilliant - what method are you using? Roller? Brush? How many coats? Primer?

We'd all love to know as there are lots of us planning this.

I've just won a Mazda RX8 bonnet (for 99p ) so I can practise applying Kawasaki Green with a roller.

Cellulose satin Nato green paint 50/50 thinners, No Primer apart from the bits I've had to go to bare metal or use filler so just a good flatting with 320s and I'm using a spray gun. Think I did about 6-7 coats, It drys pretty quick. Far from a pristine job, but it's nato green I really don't care about orange peel just want good even thick coats It's only going to get muddy and scratched.

The guy was telling me in the shop the have paint type specific for roller and brush painting. Not sure what it is, but it was the first thing he said when I told him It was a Land Rover.
