Hello there, I am new to all this but wondered if anyone can throw some light on this new problem with my wife's TD4, She run out of diesil last week filled it up and all was fine until today, The engine now is starting fine but once driving it feels as if it has no power and is pumping black smoke which is very sooty and fills wet but is not smelling of diesil it also is making a wired nosie when it loses power sounds like a clicking nosie which seems to come from under the rear of the car after the noise stops more smoke comes out . it is then ok and then starts the cycle again. thanks.
