On the one hand, I believe HorseApple originally bought his Overfinch from Graeme Hunt so perhaps they know their prices.

On the other hand, they have a reputation for "premium pricing" their vehicles - and if you ask me, £75k for that is a joke. I'd struggle to justify £20k for that, but if you really wanted the best CSK available I'd say £30k perhaps? Otherwise you may as well source your own CSK and rebuild that!

The seats do look nice, though...

Good luck to them - if they stumble across somebody prepared to pay that for it, then great.

But to me, I'm afraid it's value has been reduced substantially by all the non-original work and judging from the interior pictures, the leatherwork on dash etc. is hardly first rate....

£10K tops.

I know this is not a 2 door, but as a yardstick to the real/current situation world an '84 four door (manual) in original condition with 66K on the clock & seven previous owners went on Ebay last month (with no less than 43 bids) for just over £7000. Allow for the fact that 2 doors have more appeal, to some anyway, even when throwing in a stealers profit ............

I think HAs came from Bramleys but your point still stands Mike.
You would expect them to know their market and HAs did sell extremely quickly but still that's a whole heap of money.

I might be able to believe the amount for the Velar assuming its spotless.
Can't imagine any new owner will be going to pay and play days can you?

It looks like new though……and (in theory as its a collectable) it should really appreciate in value as it gets older if kept in the same mint condition

True classics can appreciate, but all depends on their starting price. If you paid £10k or even £20 for it then yes, you shouldn't lose any money provided you keep it mint. But £75K? That is a joke, really..

it will sell..might take awhile, but storage, premium advertising in h and hound, etc has been included into the asking price..
