I read somewhere you have to replace the battery in the fob within 1 min, and sometimes the rubber button cover can loose its pressure pad movement and needs replacing. If you take the rubber cover off the switches and press the buttons with a screwdriver this will show if its working.

If you do get the led to blink again then you may have to resync the key fob into the system again. this is well documented on here

Is your alarm going off? how are you unlocking the RR to make the alarm sound?

hi doug i use the key to open door and alarm goes off the turs itself off after a few minutes and then resets itself . cheers mozz

I see, If you take a run down to Nottingham Ill turn your alarm off for free then if you need later when you receve your new fob ill activate it again for you. :)

The key is sealed....you will have to get physical with it to get your bits and bobs out (oh er misses..!!)

Just fit a new button pad, about £6 or less on Ebay. If you order a new key, make sure it's not the same key number as the one you have got, i.e. if you key is numbered #1 get a #2 or vice versa or to be sure order a #3:)
