Help I'm getting a bit paranoid about the wiring harness problems on the Disco 2s and need a few questions answered.
1 where can I find the ECU with its famous red plug ?
2 Is it best to change the full harness or just do the O rings ?
3 Will I need to change the rocker cover gasket while I'm in there ?

behind battery under lid ,change injector loom ,new rocker gasket would be best though not essential ,clean other loom both ends with spray cleaner keep doing till dry make take a few days

if you have oil in the red plug you will also find it in other places like maf plug/fuse box and so on

Thanks a lot once this weather starts to behave I will get out and have a look. Is the ECU in an alloy casing ,on its side between the jack and fuse box.I have had a quick look and figure this is it.Also is the loom from the ECU to the rocker casing something that needs replaced or is it a clean up job.it is a bit oily looking in there.
