Is it central locking? will the key turn in the lock? is it tight? loose?

its not central locking and it opened ok this morningwith key and hasnt been driven today a small bar had come out of a hole but even when replaced it made no difference hope that helps a bit mate

What was it like when it wouldn't open? stiff or loose?

Are the three lock retaining screws tight?

all nuts /bolts are tight door when shut is tight got no door cards so ican see the workings and like i said a small "L" shaped bar had came off but i put it back in the correct hole still nothing happening .From the inside door opens no bother hope that helps will have another look today when i get a chance

just to let you know the door is sorted i messed around with it and i think it was stuck in locked mode or something as i pushed something with screw driver and heard a click and sommething" seemed " to release so im sorted for now once again thanks for the replies ps im loving this site great knowledgable people on here
