Optimus Prime Well-Known Member Oct 25, 2011 #2 would say something is amiss, may go on for ages, may fail tomorrow, hard to say. might be worth buying a fuel pump and filter and keeping safe ready for the fateful day. I'd go genuine, heard some bad reports about aftermarket on here. good luck

zoolander New Member Oct 25, 2011 #3 How many miles has your car done? TBH if you suspect the pump to be faulty change it and the filter. Not a difficult job. all the best
