Painted me 90 last weekend Mat Drab Olive Green

I asked the supplier about thinning it with thinners..... they said not to thin it more than 5%

When i opened the tin it looked thin enough to me so i left it neat, I used a roller and looks bloody brilliant! Cant see any roller marks or owt.

I started off with 2.5l and still got about a litre left

I painted everything i could see (roof, inside doors, under bonnet etc) one coat

Got any pics? I'm gonna roller mine when the weather warms up. I won't have to use the Landy for work every day then so I can take my time prepping it.

1 part 2 pack activator and at least 10% thinners

Its now got winch and grill back on! These pics dont really do it justice but they are the only ones i had on me phone!

Oh and it got me snorkle on now too lol

That looks great - you've done a nice job. Wanna do mine? Out of interest, was the chequer-plate already black? I've got silver c/p on my bonnet and wings and I really hate it

No mate it was silver chequer plate, I didnt like it either! Painted it with black 'Smooth Hammerite' Also repainted winch bumper and all the other chequerplate bits (Round fuel cap etc)

I wanna do me wheels black at some point too but going to wait for the warm wether for that lol

Can i as where you buy your 2k paint? Did you use 50% hardener? I cant seem to find a good supplier here (denmark) but im in the uk for a week in march..leamington spa area..would like to order so i can pick it up then and take it back with me...cheers in advance.

aye but it depends on the paint bloke who i used to work with was using 5parts paint one part hardener but he was baking it

gave a really nice result

Well i havent got an oven big enough..lol..this is a 3 day in the heated garage job..ive got compressor etc but i think im going to try roll-painting it..going for the matt nato green i reckon..any suppliers recommended?

i hope you shot blasted or sandblasted the cp and then etch primed it first b4 painting it?

if ya didnt it will soon be off
