Sure your Insurance company will be rubbing their hands together when you tell them you've modified your vehicle to add seating. If it were me I'd shift it on and buy a proper 7 seater instead. But check with insurers 1st though, as I could be wrong.

Got 4 on my Disco 1, can't fault 'em. Less wind noise, can leave windows open to let it air, very handy on a wet day.

They're all cool, not so keen on the yellow to be honest. Mine is Epsom green, occasionally anyway. Would go for the Metallic Green or Red and possibly the Black out of those if funs allowed it.:cool:

Fix it the best way possible. Gotta agree with thebiglad, NO MOT MEANS ITS UNROADWORTHY, and a condition of your insurance is that the vehicle has A VALID MOT. No MOT means no insurance, no insurance means 6 points and statutory ban, usually 6 months minimum. And a large fine on top of that.

You would notice a difference, either with an extra intercooler or a larger jap one thrown in. But you'd need to up the boost pressure and play with the fuel pump as well. Worth a go. As above, I reckon I've bent it or it was bent when I bought the car. Took my 300tdi out on some private land with the kids earlier and somehow the rear ARB removed itself from the axle. Not a massive issue as I tied it up on the rear lashing points to keep it out of the way until I got home...

Scrap is at £150+ a tonne, we buy any car would probably take it straight round the scrappy for quick beer money. My mate took a mint BMW 330ci to them, they quoted him £9000 for it, he had the wheels refurbished and all dings and paint marks sorted weeks before & they tried to knock him down...

So long as its a forward facing seat you shouldn't have a problem. Its rear-facing baby seats that have a serious issue with airbags for obvious reasons.

Glad to hear it, I've gone from driving LWB 7 series BMW's for a living to a 300tdi Disco, never been happier despite the BMW luxuries. Drove the BM's way too fast, but somehow kept my license clean. Disco's may not be the fastest things around, but driven right, they're a lot more enjoyable.

My advice, either call DVLA yourself to confirm vehicle ownership, details etc. DVLA should be able to tell you if the paperwork has been received to be processed etc. If it was in the post to him, then DVLA computer would show changed details as soon as they've been updated. Or be patient and...

Personally, I'd go sort wheels & slightly larger tyres 1st. That'll give you more clearance across the axle(Diff gets more clearance), whereas a lift will give you more between the axle's, and 2inches wading depth(snorkel would do the same). Try swapping injectors 1 & 2 over for 3 & 4, and see if it does the same with different injectors on the ends. Sounds like dodgy injectors. Soak them in injector cleaner or Redex for a day or so and refit. 2nd hand injectors aint too much if cleaning them up doesn't work.

Pull it out of the dash and check speaker connection plug hasn't popped out, mine fell silent for no reason, somehow it came unplugged. Worth a try and only takes 2 minutes to check.

Looked into this myself a month or so ago from local main dealer, Stratstone Slough, was told £27 for one side and £33 + vat for other as the price depended on when they were initially sourced. Rear door was around £60 +vat if i recall. Hope this helps.
