Another new member

Hello all, just to introduce myself on here, bought my 1st Disco in April, a V8 that destroyed its gearbox after 10 miles. that went back to the seller and i bought a 300tdi that has had most of the rust sorted for now at least.(Any welders nearby may come in handy).:rofl:
Have rattled around in it for a few months now after replacing the complete drag link due to buggered ball joints and seized threads as well, seemed daft not to replace the whole lot while i was under there.
Hoping to gain pointers from the wealth of knowledge that is on here. not taken it proper off-road yet, but in time it'll get filthy enough.
want it 100% solid 1st.

hello.. loads of info on here , and lots of people who know what there talking about , you will learn loads... All i can say is use the search box , and you will find 90 % of what you need to know. if ya get stuck , ask some questions , plenty of people will help . also busters photo guide is a great read, if ya get stuck doing any repairs.

Thanks, next job on list is o/s swivel pin seeping grease. Have Haynes manual and a lot of determination. not a quick or simple job, but will learn something along the way. Done all my own stuff up to now, but this is a whole different kettle of fish.:scratching_chin:
