    Clutch slave cylinder problems

I wouldn't tweek the bracket. It is a goofy design and the metal is thin. Why not just shim between the ram and lever a hair? On seccond thought I woundn't do that either.

Can this be fixed? Clutch slave problem.

It moves freely now about 1 inch back and forth with no spring action. In either position the trans is still in gear. It is not disengaging the clutch. Any ideas? Could the clutch just be fried? It is my wife's car so I have no idea what was happening prior to the break down.

Can this be fixed? Clutch slave problem.

How hard should it be to move? I got it moving about 4 deg from 12 o clock to the right to 5 deg or so. I put as much pressure on it as I could by hand but couldn't get it to move any further. What is next? More oil? More pressure? Is it toast?
