Anyone have any tips or tricks for gettng a tale gate open? When I try to open it I hear an electric click but nothing else. Any ideas?
 
Mine is playing funny beggars too at the moment. Is it sorta semi open? If that's the case you'll need to push t closed in order to open it again.
 
Well it turns out that the actuator has a round opening on the top of the ram, in side that actuator is a plastic bushing where the rod attaches to pop the lock open. The plastic bushing has crumbled and the rod is loose. Tomorrow I’ll fab up a mod on that rod so I won’t need the bushing. I’ll snap a photo or two so you can see how it all works.

It would be much easer of a job with a replacement bushing but that isn’t in the cards right now.
