Not a langy, but not my namesake jeep either.

I always wanted a Landrover defender, but there are too few of them state side and too expensive... So I always had jeeps, but now I have a new toy. 1991 AM General M998, 6.2 L diesel.

I visited the landrover usa site today to see if we will be getting the td5 anytime soon. Looks like there are no plans for introducing a diesel model here anytime soon. All that is available here is the RRC, LR2, and LR3. No disco or freelander anymore:(

    should change member rating system

I think the member ratings should be changed from junior and senior to something like starting out as a Peelander and ending up a Defender. The jump is too quick from junior to senior. Posts 1-100 peelander 100-500 disco 500-100 rangerover 1000-2000 series 1 2 and 3 2000 + defender

whats the most damage you have done?

Off road to yourself, your freinds or your ride? I rolled my new Dodge Dakota while playing ghost truck one night; that was the most damage done to a vehicle, but I did give my friend's wife a concussion while jumping frost heaves, she hit her head on the rolebar.

Cheap, but dangerous alternative to a winch.

I could not find a picture of one, but I can describe it well. Take a 40+ ft tow strap with the highest weight rating you can get. Roll it out full lenght and pace off 15' from one hook and tie a loop in the strap. Go to the other end and pace off 15' and tie a loop in the strap again. Take two...
