My very early Series 111 was long ago converted to a 15J diesel 2.5 N/A engine. This is now puffing a bit of smoke and well down on pulling power.I'm casting around for a replacement as this is probably easier than rebuilding. However I'm not certain which other engines will be a direct fit now...

I've managed to have a similar problem with my Series 2a, fitted with a 15J 2.5 litre NA diesel. Changed the filter, then spotted glass sedimenter was dirty so cracked that open, cleaned it and put it back. Tried to bleed the system, thought it was OK but engine ran for a few seconds and died...
