I rate Turner Engineering, I've not had one of their engines yet but I did fit one of their performance heads and can't fault it. My engine has done 217000 so I may need on in the not too distant future. I'm no expert but have you considered a problem with the head gasket or head?

Mine has got 162000 on the clock, doing 55-60 on my 60 mile drive to work. Last week I got 37mpg! The reason I am shocked is because it's a 300Tdi 110 with full length roofrack and AT tyres!

Think it was about £600ish but not really worth it unless your doing lots of miles (I'm on 120/day!). If your engine is in good condition and it's set up correctly it can make driving less of a hassle as you need less gear changes.

Hi Karl, my blower went on the blink 3 months ago and it turned out to be the connector all **** up with sand and mud. I cleaned it up and applied a dab of silicon grease and it's worked fine since. PS. Got my pre heater plumbed in now, no more cold morning drives down to Cheshire!

300tdi gets my vote. I do 130 miles a day in mine and at present I an getting 33.5mpg! It has taken a couple of months of fettling to get it that good, but now it's running well. May look at a Roverdrive when cash-flow allows.

I use my 300Tdi CSW every day. I'm thinking of opening my own refinery as I'm doing approximately 130 miles a day, I hope that my LPG kit will save me a bit of cash though!
