    Have the same problem but on the passenger side. It's intermittent. Lube the way to go * fnar fnar* ?

    Land rover discovery tdi auto

    Lost reverse gear after a greenlaning day out. Needed new reckon gearbox fitted. Cost me £900 quid. Apparently 'legs' whoever they are will fit a fully reconned box for £700. Have a look on the LRO forum for the info if this is required. Hope it's not. :(
