Disco door handle

I have a 95 landy disco 300tdi
Recently i need to pull on the drivers door handle several times before it opens,(External) i think it is getting worse.
Can i make any adjustments to the handle or the mechanism or do i have to replace it?

If it does actually open, it may not be the spring. The lock mechanism is probably a bit sticky. Get the door card off and get some lubrication into it. Try locking it with the key, not the remote. If it needs a lot of pressure, probably could do with a bit of a squirt.

I have the same problem, not the spring thing as it locks unlocks fine, it just has the added security feature of having to know what way to pull the handle just right so it opens, land rover think of everything

Have the same problem but on the passenger side. It's intermittent.

Lube the way to go * fnar fnar* ?
