hi all, i am being quoted between £450--£500 to replace clutch on disco,is this the going rate ? or is any body else cheaper ...wilts area..

hi all, just towed the disco back home after the clutch stopped working.missus was driving when she said it made a funny noise and couldnt get into gear,the pedal has gone all light (not much resistance)and can put it all the way down but still cannot get into gear.is this the clutch gone or...

hi all, 300tdi oil light coming on when hot but only on tickover,when revved the light goes out.oil and filter changed at weekend (castrol 10/40 part synthetic) but light still coming on !!!!:doh:.any ideas what this could be.....cheers..marcus.

hi i had the same problem with my 5 door,turned out to be a faulty solder joint on a circuit board behind glove box (inside a black box with a multi plug sticking out of it) i heated all the joins up and the windows now work,long shot might be woryh a look..

hi all , trying to replace water pump but 2 of the 3 bolts on the power steering pulley have rounded off. any ideas greatfully received..tia..marcus.

hi,had similar problem car was swimming about all over the road,grab hold of the rear shocks and shake them.the top bushes may have worn....hope this helps.

hi guys water pump squealing like a stuck pig , looks like bearings have gone as pulley is wobbling all over the place . started to dismantle but really struggling to get p/steering pulley bolts off ....any suggestions for a man with limited tools limited patience/inteligence and a big hammer...

hi all , i have just fitted brand new fan belt tensioner but the belt is still noisy . do i need to do the penny trick on a new part ?

thanks guys i checked carpets and all seems ok , the air recirc button was ON so have turned OFF and put some rain x on inside of windows , now have perfect vision.thanks again for your quick response i await my next problem !!!!

hi all,does anybody know the secret to keeping the inside of the windows mist free on these cold days.i have the heater on full but the side windows front and back mist up terrible.....any suggestions ????? TIA (discovery 300tdi)
