i have i 300tdi and it's needing the track rod ends doing, i have been told that it takes around 2 hours per side, is this about right? it's got abs but i don't know if this makes a difference, cheers fellas.

yes i fitted the outer races' and i also fitted the washer, i think i'll replace the bearing just to be on the safe side.

got a disco 300tdi es and had a wheel bearing collapse on the front offside, it was a sod to get off having welded itself on, anyway i cleaned everything up and replaced the bearing, i've had to retighten it twice now, have i done soething wrong or could it be something else causing it to...

the head had cracked in two places, it's not the first time i've done this job, but it is the first time using a brand new ready built cylinder head, it's an apparant wind up that i needed a special cleaner , thanks for the advice anyway tho

i'm just about to fit a new cylinder head to my 300 tdi, what's the best stuff to use to clean the block before fitting, i've already used rough paper to remove any remminants and to make the surface shiny, cheers simes

tried it again with handbrake off' i can twist the rear one side to side but the big round thing in the middle of the car twists too, (where the rear prop comes from) sorry don't know what it is called, could this be it?

tried locking and unlocking lights flash 3 times when locking but dont flash when unlocking

landrover 300tdi, battery is ok all ignition and dash lights on, turn key and nothing, dash lights don't go dim, theres no noise, just nothing, any ideas

the pedal is not hard to push as such but it does pulse like it's skidding, nearly rammed an ambulance when it first did it, scared me to death lol, but you can push it through this pulsing but then you do an emergency stop, it only does it every now and then not all the time, cheers

it's a p reg 300tdi es model, yes it's fitted with abs, the fluid level is ok, what shall i look for on the master cylinder?
