Sport Totally confused with sat nav upgrades

Hi all, I recently but the bullet and bought myself a 2010 Range Rover Sport which in the whole I am more than happy with. I went to see some friends yesterday in their new home Which meant using my sat nav in earnest, shock horror their house wasn't on the system. This leads me to my question...

Anything specific to look for when buying

Thank you for the replies and sorry I haven't replied sooner, that nasty thing called work gets in the way sometimes. Having owned a freelander for a few years I was expecting a long list of things to watch out for but it seems the build quality on these seems better from the lack of commen...

    rear window

Possibly so, I don't know but I found that when the clip wasn't in place then the window wouldn't drop when the handle is pressed. Took a lot of trial and error but when I put that back in the locked place it worked every time. I suppose it would of been nice to look at a working one for the...

    rear window

Sorry didn't explain it properly, it's the White part by the regulator motor that has the spring on. I maybe totally wrong and I'm sure there are lots of wiser people on here but I found that if that plug is still held in with its retaining clip it works as it should. I think it is a safety...

    Rear door lock not operating

Had a similar problem back in August, also noticed the handle was flapping. Found that the two small springs in the handle had corroded away and the limit switch in the handle wasn't making when pulling the handle. Springs were cheap enough on fleabay and took about 10 minutes to fit. Hope this...

    rear window

Does the window open and close in normal operation. I too did mine this weekend and at first it worked perfect but today it didn't drop on opening door. I took the panel off and noticed the large white plug that was compressed when I fitted it has opened up. When you re compress it the windows...

What have you done to your Freelander today

I took the bottom of the injector off, took pin out etc and cleaned in an ultrasonic bath full of degizer for 30 mins. One of the injectors was totally blocked which is the one I started with as, if it broke, nothing lost. All went well so I did the other one that wasn't affecting the running as...

    Greetings from North Wales

Morning all, After trawling through this forum for over six months I thought it was about time I registered and introduced myself. I bought an 03 plate Freelander TD4 last year when I was in the market for a car and a friend told me they were easy to work on, what he didn't tell me was the...
