    Advice please

I thought the 7 seater came with ACE as standard? From what I've read on here people in rear seats don't get a great ride without the ACE.

Dashboard Lit Up Like A Space Shuttle

I'd start with the cheap and work up :) First up battery condition and check terminals are tight and good solid ground connections. Next raise the wheels and check for play as loose wheel bearing will cause fault on the ABS sensor. If there is play it is a new hub I'm afraid. After that check...

    Help with Nanocom readings

As you have said I haven't really given you enough info....sorry. I went with intention of resetting 3 amigos and whilst plugged in had a quick look through live data, the temp is the only one that didn't make sense. The other readings seemed reasonable but may be wildly out, the problem is I...

    Help with Nanocom readings

Had someone plug their Nanocom 1 into my 2002 td5 to reset 3 amigos (just replace hub). Since I am still getting very low MPG (15 mpg on average which is 75% town, 25% motorway) I asked him for the live data readings at idle. Everything seemed ok except the following which I'm not sure of...

Anyone around Bristol area with Nanocom?

My first D2 TD5 so have not yet got a Nanocom. Is there anyone in Bristol area that would plug me in in return for some beer money? Also could do with an experienced ear / eye to let me know if a couple quirks are normal for D2 or a sign of impending issues Thanks in advance

Any advice on finding oil leak

Found a split in the vacuum oil return pipe and replaced it but still have some oil dripping from around that area. Removed vacuum pump and there was oil coming from the alternator where the splines of the vacuum pump insert. Should oil be getting there in the first place and if so what...

Thank you for your input I'll have a bash at the weekend and report back I know the oil cooler is on left of engine so assume oil pressure switch is there as well? Anything else on right side of engine below inlet manifold height?

Any advice on finding oil leak

Bought my first D2 TD5 and it had some oil underneath RHS engine and on top of alternator. Figured it must be coming from injector harness as ECU plug was full of oil as well. Changed injector harness and gasket and oil seemed to stop dripping from underneath. Also changed front cam...

EGR.. Should have done it ages ago.

Really? I would have thought there is a high risk of introducing debris into the engine. Fairly new to this so this is a question rather than a quip. Also worth doing the inter cooler at the same time?

    Why do half a job?

Bought my first LR in Oct and knew there were a few bits to do to it, but just cannot understand people that do half a job ACE pump had been removed and idler pulley put in it's place but when I took a look underneath the other week I found both torsion bars still fitted. Replaced them...

    Fan belt change

I just bought viscous fans spanners from this place. Remove cover Remove fan, note right hand thread. You need the second spanner with the holes to hold the casing in place whilst you slacken the bolt. Take a note of belt routing 14mm spanner to pull tensioner towards viscous fan Refit is...
