Have been loitering in the background for a few weeks reading all of the advice you folks share. Thank you

After reading all of the positive and negatives have gone and bought my first Discovery 2. Have spent many years sending my cars to the garage due to being short of time but am determined to do all repairs and maintenance on this one.

Have already changed the injector harness, replace MAF, freed turbo waste-gate and she now goes much more smoothly.

Still have a long list of things to do to get her up to scratch... should keep me busy for the next few months of Saturdays.

Still looking for a place to download or buy a Rave TD5 manual - any ideas folks (I know this is a regular question and I have followed all of the links people have given).

Well looking forward to sharing thoughts with you all in the weeks and months to come.

Regards John

Still looking for Rave for TD 5 if anyone has any ideas

If you have no joy downloading RAVE, pm me your address and after the new year holiday I'll send you a disc with it on (free of charge) hate seeing all the rip off merchants on eblag charging a fiver.
