defender 90 with 200tdi disco conversion. was on the m/way and the landy just got slower and slower and slower, lots of black smoke. so pulled over. doh! so called RAC. when you rev it all the intercooler pipes contract and were blocking the air flow. took top tube off and ran it home...

i break enough to consider an upgrade. are 85mm much better than 75mm, and are they worth upgrading too? i guess new props and flanges? and before anyone says it i know smaller tyres will stop it, but sometimes bigger tyres help and having experienced larger tyres i am never going back! thanks...
