dont worry if youv taken too much off you can always weld bits back on! aslong as the chassis is alright youv only got the body to repair, check the sills and the inner front arches as there likely to be in a bad way if the boot floor is as bad as that. dont give up hope its gonna be worth it...

you can get the 2 piece waterproof kits for £30squid I have been told on a v8 you can take the dizzy out and theres two holes at the bottom which can be plugged up and it never gives any issues. I did see a 4.6 v8 hybrid on saturday drive through deep water with this 'fix' and it didnt mis a beat
