Im also after some plastic arches... but most of them I've seen on the rears go down at the back like a c shape. I need one's that don't come to far down at the back if that makes sence, but unsure where to get them as there not so common.

I've seen some cut about,it was on a 90 and he'd taken a saw to them and then sanded them back. They were solid cast,so had lots of plastic to play with. Not sure what make though

The normal flexi arches you're thinking of are not solid, but you could easily cut them and plastic weld them. It would not be ideal though.

Post up a pic of the shape you are looking to find an arch for and the panel can ponder it for you :)

I got mine from David at Llama 4x4.

Top job. :D:D

gave them a call, nice helpful guy. when i get the measurements I'm going to get them made up, he also gave me a good idea ;)

Going to run the front lines in a similar way to I intended to do the rears - going to run the fronts down the front arms and the rear one down the a frame.

Hmmm that's a nice idea.

Can he make the hoses to any length?

I'd like to get rid of the short piece of copper at the front calipers and go in straight to the caliper with hose.

Would be nice to run braided hose all the way to the body!!

If you want a more secure rear window, use a Disco sunroof with the hinges at the top.

thats a good price, iv had pirtek make them but any hydraulic hose company can do it for you

Discos coming on nicely

how much left before its MOT

:tea: could be mistaken but pretty sure thats what he said.

As for my disco, not long at all once the v8 is done! just a few bits and bobs, and then the improvments like rose jointed rear arms, with maybe a double spring setup... bits like that

dont weld the springs or they will become brittle. youl have to quench it after the weld then temper it, that is if it holds together

clamp them together if you have to or get some made

On my list of bits to make -

custom xbrake, plan to use a clutch master cylinder joined to a front caliper from a small car like a saxo or polo.

Rose jointed rear arms (rears later maybe)

Air charged bump stops

Raised shock mounts to suit pro comp 15" travel shocks
