Because i have a manual gearbox i don't have these wiring................... Now i know wy i doesn't found these under the carped. LOL
But i'll have the wiring for the switch next to the on/off button for the park assist

Nice to hear sjestew.
I surched a few years ago also to the wiring. But only found the on/off switch.
Removed both front seats to look under the carped, but didn't found nothing. Where did you you find the wiring?

Here the promised update.
The car is driving again. It was not the fuel filter or pump, also not the rail pressure sensor, but that what remains. The most expensive piece, the injection pump.
My friend who has repaired the car, checked the pump inside. This was completely worn out. As if...

Thanks. I did find this already when i googled the fault code.
But, my English isn't good enough to understand it completly. Can you explane it? Is the problem the fuel filter or not?

Today the car is tested again with prof stuff.
Now there was a fault code, P1190. After a reset the fault code was gone and the car started again.
Also i could drive with the car. But not far. The enigine died again as soon i came above 2000rpm and again didn't start anymore.

When my wife was driving the car yes.
When i tested the car no, but i could drive only about 300m with the car befor it died.

Since a few days our 2005 Freelander diesel won't start anymore.

I have some problems with my diesel pump.
A few weeks months i notice a leak on the dieselpump that's fitted on the engine.
On top of the pump there is a cap. Under that cap it was leaking.
A friend off my fitted a new sealing and the problem was solved.

I did the same at my MG ZT, the ecu and the switch are the same.
On the Freelander i removed both front seats so i could take a good lokk under the carped. I found nothing.

I also own a Rover 75 CDTi. Same engine, same problem solved this problem with the same stat.
